STATEMENT
KETCHIKAN, ALASKA – It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Tim Lewis, a partner in Port of Ward Cove and Newtown Wharf, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Tim’s vision, dedication, and passion for Ketchikan helped shape Port of Ward Cove and Newtown Wharf into what they are today. He worked tirelessly to create opportunities, strengthen our community, and build projects that will have a lasting impact for generations to come.
His vision and commitment will continue through those who carry forward the work he began and the values he demonstrated throughout his life.
Tim’s legacy extends far beyond the places and projects he helped develop. It lives on in his family, his friends, his colleagues, and the countless people whose lives were made better by knowing him. Tim had a remarkable ability to make every project an adventure. His energy, friendship, generosity, and presence enriched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
To the man who made every project an adventure: Tim, thank you for upgrading all of our lives with your presence. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will remain a lasting part of Ketchikan and the community you loved.
